Who is a Candidate for VASER Hi-Def?
An ideal candidate for VASER Hi-Def will already be a fit and healthy individual, but one who desires a more defined and contoured body. They will want to achieve the beautiful appearance that they have been working towards. If you can relate, VASER Hi-Def might be right for you.
To be considered eligible for this procedure, you should be close to your target body weight. This is because VASER Hi-Def is not a weight loss solution. It works best for patients who have already put in work to lose most of their excess fat, particularly if they have been trying to build up and tone their muscles.
Personal Consultation
At your personal consultation, we will determine if VASER Hi-Def is a good choice for you at this time. We will ask you some questions about your medical history. We may also run some tests to assess your current bill of health. We can answer your questions and provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision. We will take a look at your areas of excess fat and talk about the goals you have for your appearance. With this information we can create a custom treatment plan and work out the details of your appointment.

Preparation
Preparation is a vital step in VASER Hi-Def treatment. We will give you specific instructions, such as advising you to stop or start taking certain medications. If you smoke, you should stop in the weeks before your surgery and for the duration of your recovery. Smoking can lead to complications and negatively impact your ability to heal. You should also avoid blood-thinning medications like ibuprofen in the days leading up to your treatment. These medications can cause excess bleeding during surgery. Be sure to stay hydrated before and after your treatment as well.
Preparing for recovery is also important. Arrange for a trusted friend to drive you to and from our facilities on the day of your surgery. Having someone to look after you for the first night of your recovery can also help. Prepare your living space for limited physical activity. Make sure you have all the groceries you will need.
VASER Hi-Def Procedure
VASER Hi-Def is an outpatient procedure. After we administer the necessary anesthesia, your surgeon will make small, strategic incisions in your treatment area in order to reach the fat. They will treat the fat with the VASER probe, preparing it for removal and sculpting. The cannula will remove your fat cells in small, well-defined areas in order to sculpt and highlight the enhanced appearance of musculature. Once the procedure is complete, we will close your incisions and move you to a recovery room. We will monitor your condition as the anesthesia wears off, and you can go home when you are ready.
Recovery
Recovery from VASER Hi-Def looks different for everyone and depends on how many areas of the body are treated. Typically, patients need at least a week of downtime from work and normal activity. For the first few days, you can expect noticeable swelling, bruising, and redness in your treatment area. However, most patients report feeling very little discomfort while they recover. We will prescribe medication to help you heal and deal with discomfort. Avoid strenuous activity and vigorous exercise for at least two weeks. Try to take light walks after a few days to get your blood flowing optimally.
Results
VASER Hi-Def will bring you the chiseled, newly-defined muscles you’ve been working for. You will notice some improvement immediately after your treatment. However, the full results will not reveal themselves until the swelling has gone down completely.
These results will remain for some time, as long you maintain a steady weight. Gaining or losing a significant amount of weight could cover up the cosmetic work with excess fat or undermine the sculpted definition. The results of liposuction are technically permanent, as fat cells do not grow back once they have been removed. However, it is always possible that your remaining fat cells grow or shrink with changing weight. If stubborn pockets of fat become a problem again, you can receive additional fat-removing or body-sculpting procedures at Denver Liposuction Specialty Clinic.
Corresponding & Complementary Procedures
EMSCULPT Neo
EMSCULPT Neo is a non-invasive body sculpting treatment that can burn fat and build muscle mass. It utilizes HIFEM (high-intensity focused electromagnetic) technology and radiofrequency waves to add firmness, tone, and contour to the body. The focused energy stimulates muscle contractions that burn fat, as well as tighten the skin. This treatment could be a great way to enhance the results of your VASER Hi-Def treatment or serve as an alternative if you don’t want to undergo liposuction.
